For My essay, I chose the word Competition. To me, competition is an excellent thing. There are people who have told me competition is bad and that declaring a winner and a loser is wrong. For me only through competition have I been able to push myself to achieve as much as I have.

I think this is a great word for you because you've done a lot with competitions for 4-H right? And it's easily debatable...some people are so against competition, for example they'll give trophy's to all the kids who play soccer, not just the winners. I bet you'll do a good job showing the positive aspects of this word
